Hello OurSpace Community,
June has been a huge month for OurSpace.
What started as an idea to make storage more local, affordable, and community-driven is now becoming real. OurSpace is officially live on the iOS App Store in Canada, and our Android launch is in progress through Google Play.
This month, our biggest focus is growing our network of hosts across Calgary.
Do you know someone with extra space they're not using? Maybe it's a friend with an empty garage, a neighbour with room in their basement, a family member with a spare shed, or someone with an unused driveway or storage room. Many people have space sitting empty without realizing it could help someone nearby while generating extra income.

A huge thank you to everyone supporting our launch by following along on social media, sharing OurSpace with friends, testing the app, and becoming some of our first users. Your support is helping bring OurSpace to life in Calgary, one share, download, and conversation at a time.
June: bringing OurSpace to life
June is all about getting OurSpace into the hands of real people, real hosts, and real renters. Every new listing, booking, conversation, and piece of feedback helps us build a better platform.
For hosts: become an early OurSpace host
As one of our early Calgary hosts, you'll be part of the first group helping shape the future of local storage. You can create your listing, set your own availability, choose what kind of items your space is suitable for, and connect with renters looking for storage nearby.
For renters: Calgary spaces are coming
As we grow our network of Calgary hosts, new spaces will continue to become available across the city. Download the app, browse local listings, and keep an eye out for storage options close to where you live, work, or study.

A message from the founders
Dear OurSpace Community,
June has been an incredibly meaningful month for us.
On June 2nd, OurSpace officially launched on the iOS App Store in Canada. Reaching this milestone has been the result of countless conversations, late nights, lessons learned, and support from so many people along the way. What made the day even more special was that it happened exactly one year after Seth and I moved to Calgary to begin building what would eventually become OurSpace.
Looking back, it's hard to believe how much has happened in just one year. What started as an idea has grown into a live platform connecting hosts and renters, and we're only getting started.
Behind the scenes this month, we've been focused on:
- Improving the host and renter experience through smoother listings, bookings, and app refinements
- Growing awareness across Calgary through local marketing, community outreach, and new advertising campaigns
- Preparing for our Android launch and getting ready to welcome even more Calgary hosts onto the platform
We're also gearing up for a larger marketing push in the coming months, and we're excited to share what's next. If you're not already following us on social media, we'd love for you to join us there to stay up to date on new features, announcements, and milestones as we continue growing.
