Hello OurSpace Community,
July is here, and we’re excited to share a big OurSpace milestone: we are now available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in Canada. This means more people across Calgary can now download the app, explore the platform, and be part of building a more local, flexible way to share storage space.
With Stampede season bringing extra energy into the city, July feels like the perfect time to think about the spaces we already have and how they can be put to better use. Whether it’s a garage, basement, shed, spare room, driveway, or even a spot for seasonal gear and cowboy boots, OurSpace is helping people see unused space in a new way.

This month, we want to give a special thank you to everyone who downloaded the OurSpace app, created an account, explored the platform, and started moving through the host onboarding process. Your support is helping shape OurSpace from an idea into a real community-powered platform.

A Message From The Founders
Dear OurSpace Community,
After launching on iOS in June, we’re proud to share that OurSpace is now available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in Canada!
This month, we’re working to welcome our first 100 Calgary hosts onto the platform and help more people see the value in the space they already have. OurSpace is built around the idea that unused space can be an opportunity for extra income and something helpful for someone nearby.
We’re offering 1-on-1 support for account setup, host onboarding, and listing creation. We know trying something new can feel like a lot at first, so we want to make the process as simple and personal as possible. We’re also running a host contest where the first 100 eligible hosts who create a listing will be entered for the chance to win one of three cash prizes!
Behind the scenes, we’ve also been working on a new app update designed to make OurSpace smoother and easier to use. The upcoming update will include:
- Seamless login through Google
- User verification at booking confirmation
- Refreshed styling in the browse section
- Several minor bug fixes and app experience improvements
Building OurSpace has been a journey filled with learning, patience, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work, but the encouragement from our community continues to remind us why we started. Our goal has always been to create something useful, local, and meaningful.
