Hello OurSpace Community,
June has been a huge month for OurSpace.
What started as an idea to make storage more local, affordable, and community-driven is now becoming real. OurSpace is officially live on the iOS App Store in Canada, and our Android launch is in progress through Google Play.
This month, our biggest focus is growing our network of hosts across Calgary.
Do you know someone with extra space they’re not using? Maybe it’s a friend with an empty garage, a neighbour with room in their basement, a family member with a spare shed, or someone with an unused driveway or storage room. Many people have space sitting empty without realizing it could help someone nearby while generating extra income.

A Message From The Founders
Dear OurSpace Community,
June has been an incredibly meaningful month for us.
On June 2nd, OurSpace officially launched on the iOS App Store in Canada. Reaching this milestone has been the result of countless conversations, late nights, lessons learned, and support from so many people along the way. What made the day even more special was that it happened exactly one year after Seth and I moved to Calgary to begin building what would eventually become OurSpace.
Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much has happened in just one year. What started as an idea has grown into a live platform connecting hosts and renters, and we’re only getting started.
Behind the scenes this month, we’ve been focused on:
- Improving the host and renter experience through smoother listings, bookings, and app refinements
- Growing awareness across Calgary through local marketing, community outreach, and new advertising campaigns
- Preparing for our Android launch and getting ready to welcome even more Calgary hosts onto the platform
We’re also gearing up for a larger marketing push in the coming months, and we’re excited to share what’s next. If you’re not already following us on social media, we’d love for you to join us there to stay up to date on new features, announcements, and milestones as we continue growing.
